How to sync contacts from iPhone to Mac

“There are many contacts on my iPhone, and some of them haven’t be used for a long time, i want to deleted them. But before doing this, i’ll need to sync those contacts from my iPhone to Mac, in case i’ll need them in future. Any one knows how to sync contacts from iPhone to Mac?”

When you have done backup in iTunes or iCloud, you can sync your contacts from iPhone to Mac with iTunes or iCloud backup. But they won’t allow us to sync contacts selectively. if you only need to sync part of them, you’ll need to relay on third-party iOS data transfer and recovery software. Here, we recommend iRefone.

iRefone is an excellent iPhone data transfer and recovery tool. It can help you transfer and recover your lost or deleted iOS data, like contacts, notes, messages, photos ect selectively in a few seconds. Also you can preview them before sync and transfer them.

Now you can download and install the free trail version to have a try.

Step 1. Run iRefone, connect your iPhone with your Mac, choose “Recover from iOS Device” , click “Start”.

Step 2. When we enter the new interface with many data icon and media icon, tap on “Contact” icon, and it’ll be scanned by the software.

Step 3. After scanning and analyzing, you can preview and choose the contacts you need, tap on “Recover to PC”.

Then the contacts will be on your Mac.
