How to Delete iMessage Contacts on iPhone 7

“So annoying, when I start a new iMessage and begin the receive name with N, it still shows the contacts that i have deleted. How to delete those iMessage contacts on my iPhone 7?”

Delete iMessage Contacts on iPhone 7

When your deleted iMessage contacts still show up after deleting them, you can follow below steps.

1.Open Message app on your home screen, then click “Edit” icon on the new interface, which is in left top corner.

2.Now click the red circle near the contact you need to delete, then it will show up the “Delete” button on the right side of your contact, tap on it to delete this contact.

If iMessage contacts show up in your message page, you can just swipe it from right to left, then it will show up “Delete” option, tap on it, and this contact will be deleted.

Remove iMessage Contact from Recent

Also we can delete them from recent contacts.

1.Open Message App, tap on “New Message”, and input the firstly name you find that you have deleted, and it still pop up.

2.then tap on the “i” icon at the end of the contacts, and it will show up several option, find and click “Remove from Recents”.

3.Now the contact will be deleted, you can tap on the first name again to check if it still pop up.
